IMG_3473_aI am a Ph.D. candidate at the School of Criminal Justice, University at Albany (SUNY), advised by Shawn Bushway. My dissertation examines confinement as a setting for change in social support and offending using data from the Prison Project Netherlands.

My research interests span institutional and community corrections, as well as criminal justice policy more broadly, with a focus on improving outcomes, such as reducing recidivism. Previously I conducted program and policy analysis for justice stakeholders at the Utah Criminal Justice Center, University of Utah.
